The Palm Cottage house museum, treasured symbol of Naples history and heritage is listed on the National Register for Historic Places, and is proudly maintained by the Naples Historical Society.

Our members and donors share a singular passion to “Preserve Our Past for the Future”. Naples Historical Society accomplishes our mission through several preservation initiatives, including our respected docent-guided tours of the house-turned museum, tours of the adjacent garden area, The Norris Gardens at Palm Cottage, and tours of the Naples Historic District, as well as our children's education program, Pupils at Palm Cottage, and our boldest preservation initiative yet, the much-anticipated oral history project, Naples Oral Histories: If These Walls Could Talk!
Additional program support includes our acclaimed speaker's bureau, Talk of the Town!, and our substantial archival projects and photo archives, which can make a wonderful photo gallery addition to any home our business.
