The Palm Cottage house museum, treasured and respected symbol of Naples history and heritage, is listed in the National Register for Historic Places and is proudly maintained by the Naples Historical Society.

Our donors, members and volunteers share a singular passion to "Preserve Our Past for the Future." Naples Historical Society accomplishes this mission through numerous informative tours and through several preservation initiatives, including our children's education program, Pupils at Palm Cottage, our new youth art program, Art in the Garden, and our most significant project, an oral history initiative called, Naples Oral Histories: If These Walls Could Talk!
Additional program support includes our popular speaker's bureau, Talk of the Town!, community-embraced Garden Side Chickee Chats (lecture series), our seasonal promotional event, Christmas at Palm Cottage, and our substantial archival development project.
