The mission of the Naples Historical Society is to preserve Naples history and heritage for the community and future generations to enjoy.   We are a tax exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors and serve many hundreds of members.

We invite you to join our mission!   As a Member of the Naples Historical Society, you will support a range of preservation activities, most notably the upkeep and operation of landmark Palm Cottage™ and The Gardens, educational programs and archival efforts -- all designed to protect our community's history as well as preserve one of the area's most outstanding historical properties. Our membership levels are:

Friend:   $50/year
Family:   $75/year
Patron:   $150/year
Preservation League:   $500/year

Membership benefits include:

1. Free admission to Historic Palm Cottage^TM and The Norris Gardens at Palm Cottage throughout the year except during special events,
2. Free admission to the Cottage Theater with our featured oral histories or other restored DVDs,
3. Free admission to our annual holiday event, Christmas at Palm Cottage,
4. Free admission to our popular lecture series, Garden Side Chickee Chats,
5. 25% discount on the rental of Historic Palm Cottage,
6. $2 discount on the admission to Naples Botanical Garden
7. 10% discount on merchandise purchases (in store only),
8. Complimentary passes for Tours of Historic Palm Cottage^TM or The Norris Gardens at the Patron and Preservation levels,
9. An early copy of the organization's newsletter, Cottage Review,
