Naples Oral Histories: If These Walls Could Talk!

As the community continues to grow and embrace new friends, seasonal or permanent residents, it is vital to maintain a connection with the past.

Naples Historical Society initiated a program in 2009 to identify, solicit, collect, record, film, archive, and save family stories specific to Naples history. We accomplish this through a significant preservation initiative: Naples Oral Histories: If These Walls Could Talk!

The Archival Viewing Center (formerly the Guest House), is the venue of choice to watch
first-hand, feature-length oral histories captured on film for our collective educational enjoyment.

Admittance to The Archival Viewing Center is included with a tour of Historic Palm Cottage on the day of your tour.  Society Members are FREE to visit the AVC as often as they like.
