Let us lead you on a one-mile walking tour through the Naples Historic District and see the original Naples, and you will be able to imagine it as it was at the end of the nineteenth century. Walk along historic Third Street South and learn where the original movie theater, general store and gas station once operated. Visit the location where the grand Naples Hotel once stood and hosted such guests as Rose Cleveland. Stroll through the neighborhoods of Old Naples where notables such as the Briggs, the DuPonts and the city's founders, the Haldemans, once lived.
Originally known as a "sportsman's paradise", attracting fisherman and hunters alike, it was Naples pull as a resort town that captivated many famous and important visitors and brought about the nickname, “summerland in wintertime”.

Every Wednesday at 9:30am.
Start at Historic Palm Cottage and take a 1-mile journey around the neighborhood.
Advance reservations are necessary. Prepayment is required; 48 hour cancellation notice requested.
Admission is $10/members or $16/nonmembers. This tour includes a 30-minute tour of Historic Palm Cottage and a 90-minute walking tour around the Naples Historic District. Directions.
